New film features never-before-seen interviews with top military commanders

Washington, D.C. - The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) will host the premier screening of their new documentary, The Surge: the Untold Story, on Monday, November 9, 2009, at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. This is the only documentary of its kind offering audiences a look into the real story of the Surge in Iraq, as told by top U.S. military commanders.

An expert panel discussion will follow the screening. Opening remarks from GEN Jack Keane (Ret., US Army) and other panelists include: LTG James Dubik (Ret., US Army), COL David Sutherland (US Army), Michael Gordon (New York Times), and Dr. Kimberly Kagan (ISW President).
